Pretty Cake
My second custom cupcakes find is called Ticings, edible icings. Different from the fondant cupcake toppers that I wrote about previously, Ticings are thin sheets of edible icings printed using food grade inks. Not only are they FDA approved, but also Kosher and gluten-free.
Ticings are available for cupcakes, mini cupcakes, sheet cakes and tiered cakes and the website says that they stick best to butter-cream. They currently have a nice assortment of Ticings for all occasions. Although there is not a lot of wedding worthy designs to choose from, I would imagine that they will catch on quickly and add more designs. They do offer a set up service for custom designs. There is a 100.00 fee for each unique piece of artwork. They cannot guarantee color perfection as they are using all natural food quality inks.
These little gems are sure to impress your guests. They are great to dress up cake that your or a friend prepares for your wedding on a budget without scrimping on quality or style.
