altHow many weddings have you been to where you have had your shoes off by the time the reception was half way over?  For me... the answer would be: all of them.  I don't know about you but high heels really arent my thing.  Even Jamie had traded his dress shoes for birkenstocks at a wedding last summer.   Dress shoes stink.  They are no fun, and when you have been wearing them for countless hours on hard surfaces they are even less fun.  Check out this super cool idea from Amanda who provided flip flops to her guests that matched the color scheme of her wedding.  The graphic designer in me just eats this up.  How cute! and thoughtful!  To sweetent the deal, it is super easy to find loads of cheep flip flops at stores like Old Navy after the summer season is over; making this a very inexpensive little added bonus.  Last fall I bought a couple pairs of flip flops just like these for 1.99 You might consider purchasing special colors in advance to ensure they havent run out by the time clearance time hits.

Wow Marie! This is such a great idea! Whenever I go to weddings I always bring some spare shoes to dance in. I have never seen the b&g think of this for the guests before! What a splendid idea!!
